Y . ) Registered Member #8 Joined: Sat May 12 2007, 03:51PMLocation: The Matrix Posts: 704 | For those of you who feel like it (and I will do this after my exams), I would like to suggest for us to make new SOF2 maps (Quake3 engine .pk3). I would like to show you some interesting designs. Those from Quake3 and Time Splitters are awesome. You could just download a program called gtkradiant and follow some online tutorials (Youtube etc.) and then we can all make fun maps with our creative minds. I very much enjoyed Time Splitters 2 and Quake 3, so here are some of the maps. It's for our clan, so I don't care about copyright stuff. So far I am having great success! Wawawiwa. What I've learned: 1) Select partial textures 2) Skew textures 3) Clip textures (cut them in pieces) 4) Inverse select object group 5) Object rotation 6) CSG subtract (subtract one shape from within another -> subtract prisma shape from rectangular hall = prisma shaped hall like in Quake3) Fun fun!
